Its short/collarbone length, dark brown, pretty thick, and super straight, there's some good layering in there though. Last year, I just straightened it to make it smooth and looking back on it...it was so boring. Any suggestions/how tos?
And since my dress is just black and white, I thought I might add a little color with my eye makeup. What sounds best? Pink/Mauve/Plum, Green/Teal/Blue, Purples, Gold/Yellow/Orange?

Use curling tongs or straighteners to curl your hair. Then do some very natural foundation and blusher. Use shimmery blue and green eyeshadow blended together so you get both the blue of your dress and the green or your eyes in there. Shape of my face is: Oval
Best feature is: Eye colour- green (but they're kinda small)
Worst feature is: Acne- Could you recommend a good concealer?
Clothing style is: Indie/preppy/boho
Hair-
Length: Just a bit past my shoulders.
Bangs: Side swept
Colour: Dirty Blonde, but gets a red tint in it when it's in the sun.
Thick or thin: It's very thin, and gets greasy easily.

Your so young, it's ridiculous you're so concerned about all this already. I'm going to give you ONE look, that will work for everything.
- A good concealer, go to a beauty counter and ask them to reccommend a good one for you.
- Seeing as you have blonde hair, I presume your eyelashes and eyebrows and blonde too. Use a brown mascara.
- Use a light gloss, or even better a clear one and put it on very lightly. Don't put on too much, it get's sticky.
- if you are expecting to do any kissing, NO GLOSS. If you must, use a chapstick, and don't put too much on.

-DON'T CAKE ON THE FOUNDATION. Wear one designed for moderate coverage, and when you buy it from the store, ask someone to help you find your shade. Nothing looks worse than an orange face on a pale neck.
As for hair:
-Don't slick your hair back to your head ever, especially if you have a big forehead.
-Leave your hair down as much as you can, but make sure that it's clean.
-Straighten, curl, do as you please.

Hey dear, it sounds like you have a lot of the same features as me, so heres what works. Um i cant really help you with a concealer cause i use this organic **** that costs like 46 per thing.... but clinique is good, and so is lancome. For hair i DEF have some advice, i used to be a dirty blonde too, then i went dark, and it looks amazing (Not to be cocky :) ) But ask your hair dresser to go with low lights (NOT all around color, you just need low lights) in a brown about tint 4 or 3, she will know what that means, then go with a burgundy red of the same tint for some fun, it looks good, and very easy to play up or down, also, when your hair grows back you dont have bad roots at all! It just blends!! Good luck!

To make your eyes bigger you can get some white eyeliner and put that on and it makes your eyes look bigger

For makeup DO NOT wear concealer or foundation it will just make your acne worse But i think maybe you should wear a shimmer gold on your lid and some mascara on your top and bottem lashes with some white eyeliner. You could also wear a neutral smokey eye with mascara on top and bottem lashes with white eyeliner

Um,, I would try some cream for the acne, any acne cream will help, just look in a Drug Mart or wal mart maybe..
Maybe one day a week curl one side of your hair and put it onto a side ponytail where it is curled, and look look nice. Try adding washable streaks into your hair. Maybe blue , or black or pink.
Buy a cream from the store for nice hair so it doesn't get greasy so easily.

I have been invited to my boyfriends dads wedding. I never really put on makeup and do my hair cause I see no need. I have dark brown hair that has a hint of dark auburn to it in the sunlight that falls to mid-shoulder. My eyes are dark chocolate brown that everyone likes. I wear glasses all the time. And I have new glasses that will be coming in before the wedding that are silver and have blue, white and pink glass on the side. I have freckles and a face that is suntan slightly. I would like to make me eyes stand out. I don't know how to do makeup or hair that well.

you should keep your hair its natrual texture but still make it pretty. if its sraight/wavy you should flat iron it and use shine serum, then add decorated bobby pins. ones with rhinestones or metal flowers on the end.
if its curly, skip the flat iron and use shine serum only to enhance the natural curls. still put the pins in.
And for makeup, wear a light tinted moisturizer/powder and curl your eyelashes. put on volumizing black mascara, you might want waterproof, dont forget remover for later. then if you wanted color you could dust some eyeshadow right above your lashline (easiest thing eyer) or use a pencil eyeliner and do the same thing.

To keep your eye makeup in place without fading, I suggest using a good eye primer. Mary Kay has a great one for $12. You can find cheaper ones at a drug store, but it's well worth the expense. It'll keep your eyeshadow looking great all day. I've even gone to sleep with makeup on and it still looks good in the morning, though I don't recommend it.
As for the hair color. I don't wouldn't do it. The colors won't show up as brightly on dark hair. Try getting some bold purple and pink streaks. Those will look great.So could someone help me with this? hair and makeup?

then wing it out at the corners of your eye

To keep your eye makeup in place without fading, I suggest using a good eye primer. Mary Kay has a great one for $12. You can find cheaper ones at a drug store, but it's well worth the expense. It'll keep your eyeshadow looking great all day. I've even gone to sleep with makeup on and it still looks good in the morning, though I don't recommend it.
As for the hair color. I don't wouldn't do it. The colors won't show up as brightly on dark hair. Try getting some bold purple and pink streaks. Those will look great.So could someone help me with this? hair and makeup?

I think you could get your hair blond, but rather than do a drastic change and risk not liking it, maybe you should start w/ some highlights. This way, you can get a sense of what you will look like w/o having to deal w/ the damage making it completely blond will likely bring. If you are going to go blond though, the best makeup colors are grays, browns and believe it or not, purples. I use the shade Heather, from Bobbi Brown. i want to be belle, so i need to subtly hint at the character without looking desperate for it. the audition will be on a stage, so colors and makeup that would look good under that sort of light. i also have to do a simple dance in the outfit.

I guess what you can do is to wear your hair in a light pony-tail, let some of your hair stick out, and wear dark and colorful meke-up, but not goth kind make-up since your auditioning for a play, and lastly, apply some face powder to have a lighter skin tone. Those are my tips for you.

Ok, so I posted this earlier but i didnt get any good answers. So i want my hair and makeup like hers but im not sure how to do that? What do i tell my hairdresser i want to get? i dont know what to call that cut. Also, how do i do my makeup like hers? what makeup products and brands should i try? I know her makeup is pretty light, how do i that just a little darker? not much. With pale skin, you wear pale makeup. Stay away from blue eyeshadow please! Do not use bright pink blush! What you should do is use different color eyeliners. You could use blue, green, brown, purple, black, and also glitter. You can wear any color eyeliner. If you wear eyeshadow, try a LIGHT brown. Very light. You dont want your makeup to stand out. You want it to look neutral. Also make sure you wear a pink or brown lipgloss. Orange would work too. Red lipstick could also work, but only on special occasions. If you want to expand your makeup options, try to dye your hair a medium brown. Find a Mary kay represenative or something and ask them they should help you lots. You could also wear a little bronzer all over your body, but not so much that it looks like you got a bad tan. Padding is fake. Getting implants in your butt and breasts are just a permanent way of doing it. It's better than taking off your body everyday. And men aren't thrilled with the fact that your body's a press-on.
Makeup is a way of hiding flaws like a big nose or small eyes or thin lips with stragetic shading. Plastic surgery is just a permanent way of doing it. Also your face doesn't wash off in the rain.
Hair dye is the same as plastic surgery. It's unnatural in the long run so it's no different than getting breast implants.
The only difference is that these things are more accepted. Women die from reactions and have complications due to ingredients in makeup so it's just as dangerous as surgery.

A man would much rather have a woman with breast implants than have toilet paper fall out your bra. I don't see anything morally wrong with plastic surgery in a general sense; I just know that no matter how old, ugly, and wrinkly I get, it's not for me.

You should wear your hair and make-up any way that makes you feel good and comfortable. Asking random people how you can improve yourself is just going to make you even more self conscious when they tell you what your flaws are.
I think dying your hair lighter is a great idea. I also suggest a few more layers. I would lighten up on the eyeliner, your eyes are already really pretty without it. Don't change much, you're beautiful.

You should wear your hair and make-up any way that makes you feel good and comfortable. Asking random people how you can improve yourself is just going to make you even more self conscious when they tell you what your flaws are.
I think dying your hair lighter is a great idea. I also suggest a few more layers. I would lighten up on the eyeliner, your eyes are already really pretty without it. Don't change much, you're beautiful.

I actually think they are called big curls, and they are all the same size... They are about $20 at Wal-Mart... I love them. Fast and easy!
for her make-up :well it's professionally done..
but her makeup is basically the same as what people usually put on.
get some foundation, some eyeliner, lipgloss, LOTS of mascara (her eyelashes might of been fake ones), and a shimmery bronze eyeshadow.
that's all i think she put on...but it's professional, so i don't know exactly how to apply everything.

Hair and makeup help (pic!)?
Hair: It's awful... this pic is of it not done, but freshly blown dry. I got it cut recently... and she did an awful job. It's shoulder length and a little choppy (bad choppy) with a little bit of layers in the back. My bangs are sort of grown out because they got cut too short last time.
Any tips and styling ideas? I'm sick of just straightening it, it looks drab. It doesn't hold curl though.
Makeup: None on in the picture. My face doesn't tan, so I have fair skin. My nose tends to be a bit red and I have somewhat rosy cheeks. My skin tone is uneven and tends to breakout a lot and I have a few scars from acne. My skin gets pretty dry, but my forehead gets oily FAST, and makes my bangs go greasy.
I'm in desperate need of a makeover... I need hair and makeup ideas. Along with some tips on how to perfect my skin...

i think its a good haircut. i like it. and you dont need a lot of makup either because your pretty without it. if you must have makeup then stay wit the natural tones like pinks and tans. like pink or bronze eyeshadow a brown eyeliner and a bit of blush and concealer only where you need it. oh and also some shiney lipgloss.Hair and makeup help (pic!)?
I think you'd suit a parting a little further to the side, with a bigger side fringe. You don't need much make up, just foundation and mascara. As for the combination skin problem the trick is to find the perfect foundation. It might take a while to find the right one for you, but when you do it's so worth it!
ok for the hair, just get extensions like about two or three inches past your shoulder. the good ones are around $1,000 the cheapy ones are like $50. for the makeup you're naturally pretty so you really dont need that much makeup just foundation, lipgloss, and mascara. for the dry skin issue every night before you go to bed put some olive oil on your face. but if your forehead is oily try to avoid putting it there. also if you're out in public and your forehead gets all greasy like that just head to the nearest bathroon, grab a toilet seat cover and blot your forehead! it absorbs the grease and won't mess with your makeup!

Hair: Try buying a ';volumising'; shampoo to lift your roots and enhance curl, it also helps to reduce oil - and get your hair cut by a professional this time. The only way to find a hairdresser you trust is by word of mouth - ask all your friends (with nice hair) who they go to, and try it.
Skin: If your skin is dry on your cheeks, but oily on the forehead and nose (the T-zone) then you have ';Combination skin'; - go to a cosmetician and get your skin analysed for the right products. Otherwise i suggest buying a Cleanser for normal skin: for your cheeks.
And one for combination skin (OIL FREE!) - for your T-zone.
Some good products are: Clearasonic, Neutrogena, dermalogica.

I love the dress it is gorgeous. And I like the last hair style, the one with curls and the bangs would look chic. The curls down would look better than an up-do. For your eye makeup use black eyeliner and then fill in the very outer and inner corners of your eyes with a little hint of silver. Then use a good, dark mascara. For your lips I'm sure you could get away without lip stick but if you want to wear it use a color that matches your dress.+++Hair and Makeup for Prom?+++?

For school I want to look fresh and clean. But I can't really seem to achieve that look.

How do I do that, I have kind of a fair skin tone, not tan but in the middle of tan and fair, more like an ivory maybe. And my hair, It's cut really weird and I was wondering if there's any treatments to do to my hair to make it shinier and more weighed down. My mom has some hot oil treatments and lots of hair stuff. I heard Olive oil is good for your hair, how does that work? And are there any ways to make my hair glossier. I have dry, not shiny hair. Any other tips would be good too(:

For makeup, try Urban Decay eyeliner. It's super thin and it's waterproof. The only thing you have to watch out for is being careful not to smear it, because then it will dry that way. If you have brown eyes, try a dark brown. I use Bourbon, which is like a dark brown flecked with gold, which looks really good. For blue or green eyes, try a regular black, just don't overdo it. Gray also looks good on lighter colored eyes. You should also take the time to wash your face and keep it clean every day. Neutrogena products are excellent for this. Use moisturizer and clear lip gloss, or maybe light pink. If you don't like mascara, use an eyelash curler. For hair, I recomment Fekkai glossing cream, which you can purchase at Sephora. It's a little expensive, but just put a tiny bit in your hair before and after blow drying, and it really looks good. Good luck, I hoped this helped!

So, I straighten my hair at night, cause its naturally curly, and i touch it up in the morning, easy huh? NOT so much. I spay on different stuff, and it keeps my hair the same texture but my ends always flip in or my hair gets poofier, even when i straighten it it flips in even if i try to straighten it or flip it out,
What color eyeliner is best for eyes that change from greenish to blueish? I want them to be more blue than green.
And also whats the best way to do eyeliner?
I usually do black on top and bottom but i heard that makes your eye looks smaller?
Anddd What hair color would make my eyes skin etc look prettier?
Or highlights/lowlights.

try a hairspray with silicone in it. also spray a little bit on before straightening it will help the style hold but you will need to brush it out. use black brown or dark blue eyeliner. i have the same eye color as you, but i usually use a deep purple or plum to enhance them, but it doesnt nesaccarlly bring out the blue or the green. do it thicker on top and only line the outer half of your lower lashes. keep your hair brown but maybe you can make it a richer color like chesnut. always use spf moisterizer but keep the makeup minimal your skin is fine you dont really need much. try blush underneath your cheek bones and use a highlighter underneath your eyes.

I'm going as a ';naughty'; nurse for Halloween this year. I am having some trouble deciding what to do as far as hair and makeup. I have a little bit below shoulder length brunette hair which I wear straight everyday, and I usually do my makeup pretty natural everyday also. I think a cut shoulder length bob with honey blonde highlights would look great on you! If cutting your hair is not an option, then try long layers with honey blonde highlights. If you decide to get honey blonde highlights, you would have to lighten your eyebrows.

Try curling you hair on the bottom. You could always use a decorative ponytail holder or something to make it more vivid.
For makeup, I'd wear a black or brown eyeliner, and something like this with eyeshadow.
It depends on your dress color though.

I would say Auburn. You're best bet is to take that exact pic (the last one you have up) to a PROFESSIONAL colorist at a salon and ask her to match it exactly. Don't settle for anything but that. They have books filled with color swatches and she could exactly match it. The problem with giving a specific name to a color is that different brands of dye have different names for the exact same color. So take it in to a professional to get it colored.

do you're hair in a bun with those little chop stick thingies! it's sooo cute! and i think sence you have blue eyes, you could get away ith some bluish grayish eyeshadow, the regular foundation, eyeliner, mascara, blush, and maybe some bronzer. i think your makeup is perfect and it definately isnt to much. it is very natural looking. my friend has the same exact problem with her hair(limp by the end of the day) she had gotten her hair cut to just below her shoulders with some layers and some side swept bangs that are long enough to tuck behind her ear if wishes. since she got her hair cut like this it seems to have more life. i think it would like nice on you as well and i think with color; a brown maybe on the darker side with some blonde high lights.

You should go to the mall with your friends or your mom or something and go to the makeup counter of Macy's or whatever you have in your area and ask them to do your makeup. They will show you how to apply it and tell you what colors match your tones, and they will do it all for free. you might get mad but your toooooo young for it right now.... but i will HELP YOU... with your hair cut it in layers.......with your make-up you need light blue,green match with your shirt...and with the eyeliner your using black DONT, and use brown..... ,but the key is lesss is more look at some teem mags.
for hair try layers its a great way to have change but not too extreme.
as for makeup you're right to use colors like that because fair skin is hard to wear with smoky eyes. you can try some diffferent drastic colors but honestly the whole point of makeup is to make it look like you arent wearing much.
for eyeliner try not to put it on so heavy and use other colors besides black

I say be as natural as possible!!! Do a mineral foundation and pinch your cheecks for blush. Wear a shimmy brown eyeshadow like a peachy brown with shimmer... light mascara. Line your lips with a natural colored lip liner with pink gloss. Light bronzing shimmer all around your face to give you a glow. As for your hair.. straight and healthy... kind of like Jennifer Aniston! That dress if very rustic looking I know that this will accent it well!Hair and Makeup for my Outfit?!?

Then curl your lashes and apply mascara, If you want you can wear false eyelashes too. Then apply a clear lip gloss, light pink lip gloss/lipstick or nude lipstick.
P.S.- If you want something else then use a light purple in your eyelid. Then curl lashes mascara or false lashes and lip gloss/ lipstick.
Hair- I love wavy hair!! I think you should leave it the way it is. You can also do like a braid on the side. That would be cute. Just experiment with it and you'll get something

They have great makeup artists there that are well trained. The makeup is designed for models but looks so pretty! As for your hair, with that dress I would just wear it natural (down).

my dress is a deep purple/red colour and is just above the knee

Ok, I have a dance like a second homecoming, next saturday and I already have my dress. Its a really deep purple that sinches my waist and makes it look extra smaller, and its tiered with that same deep purple as the base with cream and tan polka dots. Its a carnival dance so I had to go with the polka dots. I wanted to know what to do with my hair and makeup. My hair is about 6 inches past my shoulders and its ';scene'; if you wanna label me. i think you should do smokey eyes and add 3 coats of mascera after that also honey wear a navy shirt because navy and kacki pants look good together. I have a wonderful idea! You could wear a red blouse with your khaki pants, and an octopus clip which is a great hairstyle for anyghing casual or fancy, here is an example! :http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=h鈥?/a> , and you just put it on like a normal clip. For makeup, I would go for a glittery white and smoky pink lip gloss. Good luck!
Just stay normal and wear your normal hairstyle and get darker colors so people can see it on stage and if u dont like it u can wash it off.
wear your hair straight, or for a change, u could curl it a little and make sure your shirt is a darker color
i think you should do smokey eyes and add 3 coats of mascera after that also honey wear a navy shirt because navy and kacki pants look good together. I have a wonderful idea! You could wear a red blouse with your khaki pants, and an octopus clip which is a great hairstyle for anyghing casual or fancy, here is an example! :http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=h鈥?/a> , and you just put it on like a normal clip. For makeup, I would go for a glittery white and smoky pink lip gloss. Good luck!

so monday's my grade 8 grad, im getting my hair done but im not sure what to ask for, and i have absoulutly no idea how im gunna do my makeup,, im 13 but look at least 15, heres a picture of my dress:http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/3215/graddress.jpg

I just got out of 8th grade myself and im 13 too. My school didn't have an 8th grade graduation. But we did have an 8th grade dance. It was almost impossible to figure out what to wear or to do with my hair and makeup.
Hair:
I would say either straightening it so it is super straight. Or doing loose curls so your hair is nice and wavy. Whichever is cute do the opposite if you usually wear your hair one of those ways.
Makeup:
Keep it fun and light. My mom doesn't let me wear a lot of makeup since I'm only 13. I would wear a sparkly lip gloss just a nice clear gloss. A light blush if you need it- I wouldn't know since I have really red cheeks already. And then for eyes either a nice gold eye shadow or a pink eyeshadow to tie in with your dress.

I would do a black eyeliner on the bottom with maybe a pink eyeshadow, with a little black eyeliner at the corners of my eye. As for your hair, you can either straighten it or curl it or both. Your choice.
i would say you should get it curly like selena gomez that would look pretty and do some light makeup like a little eyeliner and eyeshadow
