Prom accesory, hair, and makeup help?

My senior prom is just 3 weeks away and I am trying to figure out what to do with my hair and makeup. I purchased a beautiful white and blue gown. My problem is I don't quite know how I should do my makeup and hair, and I don't even know what accessory's to use. The best way that I can describe my dress is floor length white taffeta, with a royal blue strip at the top, with matching blue spaghetti straps, on the gown itself is royal blue flowers starting as a thick cluster near the top and slowly getting thinner all the way down to the dress (the flowers are sewn on the dress and are not a pattern) the back is lace up with a matching blue string. Personally I have long blonde hair, blue eyes, and glasses. I'm asking for help because I am terrible at coordinating things like this. I always love long curly hair, it's very classy, but not over the top, or tacky. Pus the next day, it's really easy to throw into a pony, incase you don't have seven hours to untangle your hair.

I don't think you really need to accesorize a dress that's as beautiful as you described. It sounds like it's detailed enough, to not need any accessories. I would try larger stud earrings, and A pretty matching ring. Not too over the top. This season is about understated, pretty, girly jewlery. I woudn't spend much on the accesorises, try cheepies like at Claires or Ardenes! As long as they sparkly, who cares what they're made of.

If you have really curly hair, then i would leave it curly, and just tease and backcomb it, and tease the fringe, so that you have really big hair. Then add a pretty hair-band, and sprinkle some glitter or glitter hair-spray, and voila. It'll look awesome. Too be honest although Tinkerbell has her hair up, I always think of her as having long, big dramatic hair.

Put a bun in your hair, use hair spray, let peices hang down in front. They don't have to be straight.

Im 14. I have a round face like Miley Cyrus and i LOVE her makeup. I am white and im not afraid to try new things. I love the natural look, but myskin is VERY oiley and it wipes all my makeup off. I have hair down to my brastrap and my hair as long layers i part my hair to the right and i use a CHI flat iron. i usually only wear eye makeup but im going into high school and i want to look ';OLDER'; not hookish or anything. Im the principles daughter so i ';know'; better. hahaha i dont wear a lot of black and i dont wear skinny jeans. Okay, if you go onto youtube there is a lot of how-to on makeup, hair, ect. But, go to youtube.com/pursebuzz. Look through her videos until you find the tutorial of how to do the Miley Cyrus, 7 Things Music Video Make up Style...or something like that. Then, go to your local store where you buy your makeup. But some sunkiss, that's bronzer. Helps with Oily skin. REALLY does. Helped me. Pretty much plugged it up haha. It makes you look tanner too. Also buy multiple shades of green eye shadow. Experiment with putting multiple shades on. Green looks good on almost anyone, makes them look mysterious and sexy. Perfect for highschool! Something you can do with your hair that is absolutely adorable and will make you look a lot older is straight across bangs! I dont know how to type the url and you can click on it or anything but just go to google images and type is straight across bangs and you will find some awesome pictures!! Also with the whole make up thing you could start wearing blush, and carry around lip gloss where ever you go!!

im in such a rut trying to figure out what career path to choose,


i love to do my hair,makeup, and do it to my mother and sister also, and i know i'd enjoy the cosmetology classes cause i'll learn how to do a much better job in hair and makeup, but the thing i worry on is actually getting a career in that field, i've been in salons and i seen how picky people can be about how they want their hair and oooh man i just HATE to think if i was to mess it up and do a bad job!..


i know someone might tell me ';well you'll get trained for all of that';


but still! even with training , i dont really like the idea of being in a salon and doing strangers' hair ... i would rather just apply my hair and makeup techniques to family and friends....


so maybe going to cosmetology isnt such a great idea? .. i dont know!!!


and then, i also Love animals.... so theres THat career path of a vet or something...


uuuggghh, its sooo hard to figure what to do here!..

You could get a business degree in Entrepreneurship or something related then open up your own salon!! That would be so fun. Owning the salon could definitely turn up profits if your good at what you do...or hire people who are good at hair/makeup.
