Prom dress, hair and makeup ideas?

Its my prom on the 1st July and i want to start to have an idea of what i want :)





I just dont really know what colours suit me or styles and my mum just says, well its up to you





Iv got dark brown hair but im planning to dye t a reddy brown soon that'll be whats it like for prom, and my eyes are brown.

My hairs short, inverted bob and very very short back cant be tied up


so ill probably jsut have to have it like it is on the pics?





Im quite short actually, about 5ft of 5'1, smaller than everyone else in my year so i thought a long one would make me look short?





and i want a more stylish type one not really princess dress





I like in the UK and im a size 8 here so pretty average/small








So any ideas of dress colours, styles, hair styles, make up ideas or anything really :) i just dont have any idea

you should keep your hair like that and get a cute head band.

Darker colors will look wonderful on you. Think about black, purples, hot pinks, and deep blues. For your hair you can do a little headband that matches your dress. Do eyeliner in the color of your dress and blend with a sparkly white shadow.l

blend the eye shadow color with the color of your dress mixed with another color

I may be a guy but I did a study on height so I know what clothes suit a shorter person.


With the dress, a short one can make your legs look longer if it comes to just below your knees, but if it comes too low it makes your legs look shorter. A long dress can make your whole body look longer, and if you plan on wearing pretty high heels they won't be as obvious under it.


Your hairdo is great for a shorter person because it shows your neck and makes you look longer in the body. Makeup... not my thing lol.

as for dress colors...maybe you could look into blue, yellow (light or goldish) or even green. Purple would also be a good choice for you.


your hair i dont know if you could try soft curls at the very ends since your hair is so short (but very pretty) or you could like scrunch it and make it wavy...unless you plan on growing out your hair before prom... i think the style is up to you...a poofy kind of prom dress or a classic simple floorlength dress....make-up i think depends on the color dress you wear....but no matter what just have fun at your prom im sure it will be a night to remember! =)
