Hair and makeup advice.?

I am allergic to make-up, but want to try it. How do I tell my mom?Hair and makeup advice.?
tell her you want to try it and you are willing to take the responsiblity of the consequences of your allergic reaction( I'm assuming you won't die from it) Work with your dermetologist to see what exaclty you are allergic to in the makeup and find ones that don't contain in. Let your mom know how important it is to you by taking the iniative to research and find a makeup for you.Hair and makeup advice.?
Good Answer! You really seem like you care, and that makes you stick out from the other losers who don't try to put any thought in their answers at all! LOL! YOU GO GIRL! Report Abuse

Good answer, very thoughtful, and mature! Report Abuse

How do you know if you're allergic if you've never tried it? Unfortunately, your statement doesn't make sense.
Have your mom and you get together for a facial and makeover - then you're doing something together and she can see how wonderful you look and feel after trying makeup. Make sure the makeup is hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic and fragrance-free.

A great makeup to try is Mary Kay. All of their products are wonderful for people with skin allergies because they are hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, oil-free, fragrance-free and dermatologist tested and recommended. You can go to www.marykay.com to find a consultant in your area that will even come to your home to give you and your mom and facial and makeover using the best products for your skin.

Whatever you decide to do, just be honest with your mom and tell her this is something you would like to try.
tell her your mature enough, and you need to express yourself.
try hypo(or hyper, i forget)allerginic make up....
I would try this makeup called ';Bare Essentials';, you can order it off t.v. Also if you do try it I would just try it a little bit at a time. To see how your skin reacts to it. I'm pretty sure it's made for people who are allergic or sensitive to regular or store bought makeup.
I don't know how you would tell her.
just ask if you can maybe start off with like lip stick or something little like that and see how it works out.
