Hair and Makeup help needed. Makeup artist. Link?

Okay, well i have been wanting to go to a makeup artist but my parents insist i am too young (I am 14). I need to know:

1. What colours would suit my skin type?

2. Does mascara effect your lashes?

3. What type of makeup can i wear on a day to day basis without it wrecking my skin?

With hair i wanted to know some styles to go with as i have had a side fringe for 2 years and basically always wear it the same way.

Me:

hair :

go for some choppy layers on top and a fuller fringe

-the scene hair style is in

or just go fo a long bob =]

makeup:

lighter ivory liquid foundation - stuff like dream matte mousse and power makes your skin dry

got for urban decay and more expensive brands

mascara can effect lashes when its thick and clumpy - it can make lashes look smaller and sometimes make them fall out

go for a mascara that makes lashes stand out - define a lash is good

as is clinique - long pretty lashes

go for a pale pink blush - or bronzer - be careful some bronzer looks tarty

theres really no need to eye shadow/ liquid liner for everyday

- but to define your eyes i'd suggest use kohl liner on lower/inside lid - i swear by it =]

if your going out then yeh... go for dazzle dust and some liquid eye-liner on your top lid

why don't you go for a make up trail somewhere

if your in the UK i'd suggest debenhams or john lewis

they show you whats looks nice and i don't think i cost alot/any

You're so cute you don't need makeup. But I know young girls want to wear it. So in your case, a neutral powder base applied with a big makeup brush. Mascara after using an eyelash curler, and no it does not harm your eyelashes, only makes them longer and thicker. Last, a shinny lip gloss with a light pink tinge of color.

Also check out this makeup for your hair. www.twi-lights.com
for your hair instead of side get front fringes they will look good

and if you want to use make up you have a good skin so you dont need that much coverage so i would say

use a moisturiser first the best is oil of ulay whitening moisturiser it acts like a foundation i apply it first

then tap around your eyes with your fingers a little concealer you can use maybelline mousse concealer

then with a blush brush apply a little powder foundation under your eyes only you can get it from maybelline

then apply a ligh golden shadow i love creamy shadows from MAC or Burjuois and then with a shadow brush apply brown shadow on the outer lid

then put a thin line of liquid black eyeliner if you want sometimes i dont and it looks good on me so try if it looks good on you without the liquid eyeliner then dont apply it

now apply the mascara i love dior mascara and maybelline

apply the blusher use creamy blushers they are the best and makes you look good buy the one from MAC or any other brand you want but MAC has nice shades choose the one that suits your skin

apply the lip gloss maybe nude brown gloss you can try a couple of glosses until you find the shade you like
You could go to Avon .com and they have virtual makeover you can try. you can ask any questions about what goes with your colouring etc. As for your hair you could try straightening it what a difference that makes. Also do you have curlers ? Thats something different you could do with your hair. If your parents won't let you dye your hair and I admit my girls had to be 16 before I let them but you could try a colour thats not permanent it comes out after 6 - 10 washes. They come in some great colours. Just talk calmly to your mum and let her know you are growing up and most of your friends wear make up and colour their hair maybe they might listen, Good luck with the chat...........
