Hair and makeup for 8th grade graduation/dance??!?!?

I am getting my hair cut and colored the day of my graduation, as usual. My hair is brown, but will have blonde highlights...A LOT because it's still really blonde now. Anyhow, I haven't decided how I want it done for graduation. It is about to my medium lenghth...like maybe an inch (maybe 2...you get my drift) past my shoulders. It is layered and has those side swept bangs. Should I go with it just being straighted like the hair stylist always does ( , or should I get something new...like curly or an updo for that night? I don't want to go WAY out because I want to save that for my senior year, but I want it to be good. For makeup... I have light skin...I am naturally light complected, but I have a tan going on right now...so not like white white, just a tan light. I have blue-green eyes, and I am probably going to wear a black dress going about to my knees that is strapless with some sequins on it. What like eye shadow color, blush, etc. Thanks!BTW should I wear panty hose?Hair and makeup for 8th grade graduation/dance??!?!?
I think curling your hair and putting it half up-half down would be really cute.


Makeup... keep it simple. Wear a little eyeliner, a little mascara, some light lipstick or just lipgloss. You probably don't want to wear black eyeshadow, it will be too dark with your eyes and stuff... so maybe a shiny silver or maybe dark grey... or brown. you can have some nice waves in your hair or even curl it. as for the makeup i would say a smokey eye with some gold would be great but dont have it too dark
