Hair and Makeup tips for a dance?

There's a dance coming up here soon; I have a dress, shoes, yadda yadda, but I have no freakin idea what the heck to do with my hair. =_=





At the moment, my hair is breast length, black, parted at the left (My left~) with the ever-so-popular emo fringe over my right eye.





My dress is long and black with pink flowers.





Tips please?





(Make-up tips would be nice too~ xD Grey eyes, pale skin, ovalish face, full lips... But absolutely no sense when it comes to this ****. ._o )Hair and Makeup tips for a dance?
I think you should have loose curls, and you should have a bit of a natural look for makeup. But, I think your eyes should stand out.
