tomorrow for the ymca. I don't know how do do my hair, or what's ';professional'; I'm straightening my hair and I don't know if leaving it down is professional, or I can pull it into a ponytail. should I leave my swoop bangs down or pull this into a ';puff'; at the top of my head?
also, I don't wear make up. my skin is pretty acne free, I have bright blue eyes. should I wear eye makeup at least? I don't really want to any eyeliner....
and while your at it... you can throw some interview questions at me to get me a little more prepared(:
thank you!Interview hair and makeup?
* Describe the work environment or culture in which you are most productive and happy.
* Imagine you have received a coveted national award five years from now. Why did you receive the award, what is the award, and what are the circumstances under which you are receiving the award?
* What goals, including career goals, have you set for your life?
* How would you define “success” for your career? At the end of your work life, what must have been present for you to feel as if you had a successful career?
* Describe a work situation in which you can demonstrate that you motivated another person.Interview hair and makeup?
Don't put your hair in a ponytail but you might try a simple twist. It should not be flying loose.
Keep any makeup light. Pale lipstick, a bit of blush. Whatever you would wear when you are trying to look nice but less is better than more.
Most of all, dress neatly and wear good-looking shoes but nothing extravagant You don't want anything taking attention away from your capabilities and personality.
Take a few minutes to talk to your mirror. Practice good eye contact. Most of all, be sure you are standing up straight and tall--no matter your height. Posture and the way you walk and move tell the interviewer what you think of yourself.
