hey guys...
I'm looking for hair and makeup ideas with this dress for my friend's wedding this weekend. My hair is about shoulder length with very few layers, so straightening doesn't work, and it hasn't been drying nicely lately, so i'm not sure i want to go with my normal wash and go curls... Any suggestions that would work with the dress and my face shape and will hold up through hours of partying/dancing?

just have your hair down with your natural curls but when its damp put some hair product in it like Sunsilk captivating curls.
I use it and it makes curls really soft and not hards and scrunchyHair and makeup with this dress?
Wow, you have natural beauty.
I'd leave your hair as is, it's so down to earth and cute!
The dress is poppin enough so you could go without make up as well, but if you really wanted to do make up I would do smokey eyes or use earth tones like nudes and browns.
For the hair I can give you tips. Since it's a wedding, I guess you'll have the time to do it.
I have very long hair (middle back) and it takes me around 1h - 1h30 to do it.
I call it the goddess curls technique.
You blow dry your hair section by section (starting from the back to the front) using a round brush
When you finish blowdrying one part (your head should be divided in around 8 to 10 parts) you twist it until it gives you a ';boudin'; and you clip it to your scalp (make sure you don't clip it too high because it will leave marks on your hair)
When your all done, you unclip your hair, straighten the bangs and the top part lightly if the clips left marks. The shake your head upside down to give volume and voila!
I used to do it a lot before I got my perms.
It's really pretty everyone thought I was using rollers but no.
Hope this helps!
And for the makeup I can only do it in real, it's too hard to explain, sorry
