Prom Hair and Makeup help!?


my prom is in two weeks and i have got my dress but i dont know how i should do my makeup to go with it. Here is a picture of my dress:

how should i do my hair and makeup to match my dress (what colour eyeshadow should i go for?) Also my skin is dark. Similar to dark chocolate. And my hair is natural, and I don't mind straighting it, but no perms. Thank You guys so much.

A general rule of thumb is to either emphasize the eyes or the lips. So, if you find a shade of lipstick similar to the dress, go easy on the eye makeup. If you do a more natural lip, then you can really play up your eyes.





The eyeshadow all depends upon your skin tone and eye color. A deep, natural color with maybe a little silver or gold glitter on the lid would be pretty. If you know how to do a smokey eye, that is nice for evening. Go on YouTube and you can find ';How-To'; videos.





Also, don't overdo it on jewelry. Just some sparkly earrings would be nice, but a necklace would probably make a short dress look to top-heavy.





Something soft for your hair. Maybe whispy?
